Welcome and thank you for visiting my web site. It is my intention in creating this web
page for you to get to know me and my views on education as a candidate, parent and involved neighbor of our
community.
We are fortunate to live in a beautiful, supportive and safe community that shares the belief that "high
expectation results in high achievement" for every child. The Conejo community has always had a high reputation
for excellence with strong parental and community support for its children, teachers and staff. As a board member
I will promote this belief with a renewed sense of optimism, commitment, creativity and consensus.
Many challenges face our district. Reduced funding from the State and declining enrollment are two critical issues. Another critical issue is long-range planning. Real solutions and decisive, positive action must be taken to address these major challenges. I will dedicate the time, energy and creativity to work cooperatively with fellow board members, parents, teachers, students and administration to collectively seek solutions and take action. We must "sustain and provide" the highest quality of education for all children.
We need optimistic leaders on our school board who can "see the whole picture" and believe in the talent, commitment and dedication of its students, staff and parents. I believe I am the most balanced, experienced and qualified candidate to do the job. My proven leadership skills are backed by applying the knowledge and experience of 31 years in education. I am a strong proponent for lifelong learning and "service to others." With your support, together we will “Build a Community of Learners” and provide all our children with the skills needed to excel and reach their full potential.
On November 4th please exercise your privilege to vote. I sincerely welcome your support and look forward to represent the needs of children and their parents as your school board member.
